"Alec’s State Farm agency is top-notch. They always follow up when you call and are very customer focused. When I had a question on the increase in my homeowners policy, Alec clearly described why the policy had increased in cost. A week later when we had our biannual review, he had found a solution to make slight adjustments and decrease my premium. It’s obvious that he cares about his customers. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking for a new agency for your insurance needs."

"I would recommend an experienced agent and one that actually calls you back when they say the will. When I first signed up with Alec Bartz's office, I inquired about commercial insurance. I was told they would put something together and let me know. I called three separate occasions, even spoke to Alec and was promised, to be called back. Never got the call. Got a letter dated 7/15 that was sent a few days prior stating that my insurance was going to be cancelled. Called his office and spoke with Joseph that day. I was told that it was a problem with underwriting and he assured me that it would be taken care of. Even said he spoke to Alec about it and told me not to worry but it would take a few days to get it straightened out. A few days went by and nothing. I called on 7/19 in the morning and they didn't bother to call me back until the 1:00pm. At that point I was told there was nothing they could do and I was uninsured. That gave me a lapse in coverage according to other insurance companies which took their offer higher. Then I found out that they would have had an answer to the problem the day before but for whatever reason they never called me to inform me. This left me scrambling to find insurance coverage on a Friday afternoon. I believe Alec Bartz and his staff is inexperienced and not worth dealing with. I'd recommend you stay clear and use an established agent that will actually return your calls."

"AS you can see this is not the first issue this office has had with communication and getting policies updated. I have had state farm for some time, however on top of raising rates, this office does not do their job. Ive had a billing issue since Feb, ( its now May ) where I was unable to pay my bill online and had to keep calling the local office to make a payment. While every time I was promised a call back to make my payment, none were received. I have multiple text and emails stating I would get a call back. Again none received. After being hung up due to a " computer crash" still no call back, contacted again and was told i would get a call back in an hour. NOTHING. I called the next week and actually spoke to Alec who stated he would call me back by Mon at 12 noon. NOTHING. Its now Thurs and upon calling them AGAIN he is now stating they want over $1000 to keep my policy. He never called me back and stated the next day he sent an email, which i did not receive. They want me to back pay although they let my coverage expire because they would not assist in paying my bill and I have not been covered since April. THIS IS NOT OKAY. PLEASE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT STATE FARM OFFICE IF YOU CHOOSE STATE FARM!"

"I do not recommend if you’re needing to get anything done in a timely manner. I recently got married and was looking to be taken off my parents auto insurance, placed on my own, and wanted to add my husband. I chose Alec Bartz because they already had my renters policy. I started in November with Joseph. I made several phone calls, sent texts and emails. I was constantly told “I will send you out this quote.” Weeks would go by and I would have to call again. Finally I got ahold of Sarah on January 16th. She had a quote for me immediately. I asked her to get the policy started, and then she fell off the face of the earth. After 3 emails sent to her, I gave up and switched to Progressive. This was not an easy decision as I have been with State Farm for 7 years, but this was extremely poor customer service. When I called to cancel my current policy, Sarah immediately answered, never asked why I was cancelling or even tried to keep me as a customer. Very disappointed."
